Creative Book Journaling or Scrapbooking Ideas

Spread the love

Considering we are a blog with both a book blog section and a scrapbook section, it seems like a no-brainer to incorporate both of them by featuring creative book journaling or scrapbooking ideas!

Lots of people have a book journal or reading journal where they write down the books they read, either monthly or yearly. Taking that a step further, these are great creative ways to document your reading journey and keep track of your reading goals.

We found some of our favorite layouts from fellow book lovers that inspire us to create, and hopefully will inspire you too!

This post is about creative book journaling or scrapbooking ideas and features gorgeous layouts reflecting people’s book reviews or serving as their book tracker journal.

Creative book journaling or scrapbooking ideas

Amazing book journal layout by Mandy Journals

We absolutely LOVE to see people’s scrapbook or journal layouts featuring their favorite books, most recent read, or book club books.

I don’t know why we hadn’t thought of scrapbooking this before, because book journaling is a great way for avid readers to get creative in keeping track of the books they read.

Scrapbooking or doing a bullet journal about a book you just read allows you to scratch both of those parts of your brain that get the seratonin from reading and creating! It’s the perfect place to unleash your inner artist and turn the thoughts and visual images the book created for you into reality.

Imagine a world where your reading log isn’t just a list of titles in a notebook – it’s a vibrant explosion of washi tape, colorful pens, and hand-drawn doodles that remind you exactly what the book was about, and what you loved (or didn’t!) about the story.

Creating a Book Of Books – scrapbook & journal ideas

A Study In Drowing page by Mollysmilesreads

Whether you’re a bullet journal pro or a newbie with a pack of sticky notes, book journaling offers a fun and personalized way to track your books, record your favorite quotes, and document your reading journey.

It’s the ultimate book tracker for those who want to go beyond the basic information of title, author, and number of pages. Think of it as your own personal “book of books,” where you can create scrapbook pages, design unique bullet journal spreads, or even craft artistic junk journal entries.

Grab your favorite pens, tape runner, stickers and sparkle to transform your reading experience into a visual feast.

Sarah J Maas book journaling or scrapbooking ideas

These books are so popular that we thought we would highlight layouts of them because we know a lot of people will want to do their own version in their book journals.

We loved all of the Sarah J. Maas layouts done by mochibujo so we wanted to feature them here. So gorgeous! Check out her page and Youtube channel to see how she puts them together so you can make some layouts of the ACOTAR, TOG, or Crescent City series yourself!
