Scrapbook or Junk Journal Page with Jane Austen Quotes
Dragon has bragging rights with the other monsters, begrudgingly admitted by all of them, in that he has had a great deal of conversation of so many famous artists from the past, since he lived during that same time! Hard to beat that strong argument. First it was Michelangelo and the statue of David, and now it is Jane Austen. That is definitely his idea of good company.
He does love to reminisce and ends up creating these gorgeous layouts, influenced by great artists, an excellent library, and his love of gardens. He saw this beautiful Jane Austen quote card among a group of her best quotes, and immediately set to work on creating this junk journal page.

Jane Austen (History Nerd Moment)
We can’t resist a nerdy history moment, so if you don’t love this part, jump down to the scrapbook prompts!
Jane Austen is an English author born in 1775, and she remains one of the most celebrated novelists of all time and there is no hope of a cure for that! I am not sure people realize just how funny she was! She is well known for her timeless tales of love and society, but we always forget that she was quite hilarious. That makes us like her even more and, according to dragon, she appeared to be a blast to hang out with.
Austen’s most famous works include “Pride and Prejudice,” “Sense and Sensibility,” “Emma,” and “Mansfield Park,” but she wrote several others. Her characters are legendary, including Mr. Darcy, Mr. Bennet, Henry Tilney and Mr. Knightley.
Although these books are timeless classics in their own right, the movie industry has certainly brought them to newer audiences with the stories being told by really famous actors and actresses. Here are a few of the men of large fortune and single women who have graced recent versions of these screen adaptations, showing the very essence of love. Are any of these your favorites?
Jane Austen’s work holds up even today, because she was able to capture the feelings of others in a way that transcends time. Her works include great hopes, young ladies, secret affairs, the pleasures of friendship and devotion of the heart in ways that are still relatable, and that is impressive if not astonishing. This is one of the reasons why it is such an acquisition of higher delight to scrapbook or journal around Jane Austen’s novels, quotes and sayings.
