I’m Sandy, a lifelong book lover and season embracer. I was inspired to start Slowestuff as a lifestyle blog to share all my creative influences and, generally, just things I am excited to talk about.

Seasonal Holiday Ideas & Inspiration
We love holidays and all the different seasons! This is the main reason we ended up doing a lifestyle blog rather than strictly a book blog or a scrapbook blog.
Talking about all the fun things for each season is as much fun as talking about books and crafting.
You can expect to find seasonal posts containing ideas, lists, links, and inspiration for all the big holidays like Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Seasonal Content Other Than Holidays
Fully embracing the lifestyle blog aspect of Slowestuff, we also love to create seasonal content on all the life events that take place in between those seasonal holidays – things like gardening, graduation, & college prep.
Book Blog
Proudly claiming life long book nerd status, you know we had to include book content all year long! This part of our lifestyle blog is what we refer to as called Slowprose, and it features book reviews, book recommendations, book pictures and book lists.
Scrapbooking & Junk Journaling Blog (with a twist)
Last but certainly not least – we are also home to The Monsters!
Calling themselves Mayhem Crafters, they are 6 mythical creatures who have joined up to form a crafting group where they make junk journal or scrapbook journals. Their layouts are featured here, with lots of ideas and inspiration for your next junk journal page or scrapbook layout.
