Among the most powerful of these are the archangels, angels, Fae, shifters, witches, vampires, river spirits, and elementals. The story is told from two point of views (POV): a half-human Fae named Bryce Quinlan and a fallen angel named Hunt Athalar. Bryce and Hunt are forced together to track the murderer of Bryce’s best friend, a wolf shifter named Danika.
- House of Sky and Breath (2022)
- This book picks up approximately 3 months after the climactic battle at the end of House of Earth and Blood. Bryce learns that her best friend Danika had been working closely with the human rebel Sofie Renast. Bryce ends up getting drawn into the Ophion rebellion. In the process, unlikely allies are made and tested and they move closer to dismantling the tyrannical regime of their world.
